About the Role An early-stage AI startup in San Francisco is hiring a
Senior Fullstack Engineer
to help scale their LLM-powered automation platform from product-market fit to tens of millions in ARR. You’ll work closely with the founding team, own key product initiatives end to end, and shape the technical roadmap. This is an opportunity for a high-ownership engineer to build real-world applications that people use, in a fast-paced, resourceful environment.
What You’ll Do
Architect and ship major features across backend and frontend systems
Lead end-to-end development of LLM-integrated tools and infrastructure
Collaborate directly with founders and customers to define product direction
Scale backend systems to support a growing user base
Contribute to a high-performing, hands-on engineering culture
Requirements
4–7 years of experience as a fullstack engineer, ideally in early-stage or founder/founding engineer roles
Proven backend expertise: Python, Flask, Redis, Celery, GCP, Kubernetes
Strong frontend skills: React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS
Experience shipping and scaling production-grade products
Comfortable in high-intensity environments with minimal process
Side projects, open-source contributions, or “builder” energy is highly valued
Nice to Have
Experience integrating LLMs or building generative AI products
Background in top engineering cultures (e.g., Stripe, GitHub, Linear)
Computer science degree or equivalent practical experience
