Key Responsibilities
Cluster Management:
Design, configure, and maintain Kubernetes clusters on AWS EKS.
Implement networking, security policies, and IAM roles for cluster operations.
Infrastructure Automation:
Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
Automate deployments and scaling of workloads.
CI/CD Integration:
Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
Monitoring & Logging:
Implement observability solutions using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog.
Performance & Cost Optimization:
Troubleshoot cluster performance issues and optimize resource utilization.
Security & Compliance:
Apply best practices for securing Kubernetes workloads and AWS resources.
Collaboration:
Work closely with DevOps, development, and security teams to ensure smooth operations.
Required Skills
AWS Services:
Strong hands‑on experience with EKS, EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, Load Balancers, Secrets Manager, KMS, Lambda, and Autoscaling.
Containerization & Orchestration:
Expertise in Kubernetes and Docker.
Infrastructure as Code:
Proficiency in Terraform and CloudFormation.
Programming & Scripting:
Solid knowledge of Python and Bash for automation.
Monitoring Tools:
Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, and ELK stack.
Version Control:
Familiarity with Git/GitHub.
Certifications (Preferred) AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional.
Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
