Distribution Manager – Bolingbrook, IL
Compensation:
$85,000 to $95,000 base salary + $10,000 annual performance bonus Start Date:

100,000 to 200,000 sq. ft. Team Size:
Approximately 20 staff – including supervisors Position Overview
The Distribution Manager will oversee all warehouse operations including receiving, put‑away, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control. This role is accountable for achieving operational KPIs, ensuring health and safety compliance, and maintaining strong service levels with internal and external partners. The successful candidate will lead staffing, scheduling, performance management, and continuous improvement across the facility. Key Responsibilities
You will manage team performance through coaching, training, and accountability while driving efficiency and cost control through strong labor planning and P&L oversight. This role also involves monitoring order flow, resolving escalated customer issues, overseeing inventory accuracy through cycle counts, and supporting the onboarding of new business and vendors. Collaboration with sales, customer service, IT, and finance is critical to long‑term operational success. Required Experience and Skills
A minimum of 5 years of warehouse or distribution experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role. A diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, or a related field is an asset. Strong knowledge of WMS systems, inventory management, safety regulations, and KPI‑driven operations is essential. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and confident leading large teams in fast‑paced environments. What is Offered
