Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems in a senior service support role, including testing and field verification of connections, labels, installation, and work quality.

Interpret advanced system drawings, specifications, and technical manuals.

Create shop drawings and submittals for new project kick‑off.

Manage technical work in the field with little supervision.

Support field staff and the project manager during installation, providing advanced technical assistance.

Assist with maintaining and completing project punch‑lists for close‑out.

Oversee technical aspects of projects, quality‑check, test all equipment, and create punch lists.

Assist sales staff with product and system demonstrations.

Handle other responsibilities as assigned.

Must have proven problem‑solving skills, critical thinking skills, and the ability to effectively read, write and give oral presentations.

Must be able to diagnose and fix problems with existing equipment and new installs.

Must be enthusiastic, passionate, patient, and a critical thinker.

Must be able to communicate with the customer and have excellent customer service skills.

Must have proven high skill level to interpret blueprints and other project documents, including specifications, reporting, and quality requirements.

Must be able to travel within branch territory and/or regional territory as needed.

Qualifications

At least a High School diploma or GED equivalency; Bachelor's Degree preferred.

3‑4 years commercial low‑voltage / structured cabling experience.

Strong teamwork skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Project).

Meets company minimum driving standards.

Able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.

Proven ability to define a project, create a scope of work, develop detailed tasks, and manage them to final completion and customer turnover.

Minimum experience 0‑2 years.

No license requirement (no minimum education beyond High School).

Compensation USD $22.00 - $36.00 per hour.
