Vice President
to join our Entertainment Communications team, focusing on film, television, live events, and music clients to execute visible and compelling narrative development.
This role will serve as the West Coast PR contact for several networks and studios. As Vice President, you will lead and develop account teams to encourage creative comms that drive our clients’ objectives and creative layered comms strategies around media placements, awards, and events.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary client contact and trusted advisor, providing strategic counsel across communications.
Lead and oversee PR initiatives from ideas to execution.
Deliver persuasive, well-crafted presentations to clients, internal teams, and external partners.
Maintain quality control over planning decks, recaps, status reports, and schedules.
Manage multiple projects and priorities efficiently, ensuring smooth delegation and execution.
Oversee budgets to ensure effective allocation and strong ROI.
Build, mentor, and develop the skill set of the rising stars in your team, while fostering collaboration and professional growth.
Collaborate across integrated marketing teams, representing PR while supporting cross-agency campaigns.
Requirements What You Bring
Expansive experience at the Director level. Currently a VP or ready to be at the VP level within a PR agency structure or internal equivalent.
A natural storyteller with strong instincts for crafting sophisticated narratives for diverse audiences.
Proven ability to build traditional media, social media, and influencer strategies for film, series, and live events campaigns.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Experience with executive visibility and thought leadership.
Demonstrate success in evolving and elevating agency processes and client strategies in the media landscape.
Experience working within an integrated agency team structure.
A strong, collaborative team leader who inspires and helps develop others.
Salary Range:
$120,000 - $140,000 + Bonus
Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
