Van Ness Creative Strategies is looking for passionate progressives who are college seniors or recent graduates for our Digital Fellowship position. If you’re interested in pursuing a career in politics and digital strategy, this position is for you!
Responsibilities
Copywrite digital ads, fundraising emails, and SMS texts to mobilize the vote.
Create digital assets (graphics and gifs) around candidates and movements.
Support high‑impact fundraising campaigns for major PACs and Democratic candidates.
Assist in strategic content strategy.
Conduct data entry, reporting, and basic analysis to inform program performance.
Use HTML to code fundraising emails.
Qualifications
Experience working with digital ads, fundraising emails, and creative strategy.
Thorough understanding of the national political landscape.
Check the news and Twitter (X) constantly for the newest updates.
Passionate about progressive organizations and causes.
Compensation & Availability This fellowship requires at least 15‑20 hours of availability each week, up to 40 hours, and pays $20 an hour.
Location Hybrid: Brooklyn, NY or Washington, D.C.
