As a key member of our elite R&D team, you will be at the forefront of developing the cutting‑edge Battery Management Systems (BMS) that power our electric vehicles, energy storage solutions, and even our humanoid robots. In our fast‑paced, collaborative lab, you will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability and performance of the technology that is changing the world.

What You’ll Do

Providing R&D Engineering support, including testing PCBAs, troubleshooting at the component level, reworking/repairing PCBAs, conducting first article inspections (FAI), bringing up boards, prototyping PCBAs, assembling cable harnesses, building test fixtures and cable harnesses, and performing high‑voltage (HV) testing

Reading and interpreting electronic schematics and datasheets to ensure accurate analysis and execution

Perform non‑destructive failure analysis on PCBAs to identify and troubleshoot issues

Utilize specialized equipment to determine the root cause of failing PCBAs

Conduct advanced soldering and rework tasks, including fine‑pitch package SMT components such as QFN, QFP, SOP, BGA, 0201 components, SMDs, and multilayer PCBA boards

Independently build and validate custom wiring harnesses and PCBA test setups/fixtures with minimal instructions

Develop and maintain clear, concise documentation of test procedures and findings, presenting results to engineers and stakeholders

Follow and refine standard operating procedures to ensure efficiency and PCBA quality

Coordinate and track shipment of PCBAs from global locations, ensuring timely and efficient testing and analysis

What You’ll Bring

Provide R&D engineering support, including PCBA testing, component-level troubleshooting, rework/repair, first article inspections (FAI), and high‑voltage testing

Build and prototype PCBAs, cable harnesses, and test fixtures for validation and development

Read and interpret electronic schematics, datasheets, and layout files to ensure accurate analysis and execution

Perform non‑destructive failure analysis and use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve PCBA issues

Conduct advanced soldering and rework on fine‑pitch SMT components (QFN, QFP, SOP, BGA, 0201, SMD, multilayer)

Independently build and validate custom wiring harnesses and test setups with minimal guidance

Analyze CAN logs and vehicle history to diagnose failures and support design improvements

Develop and maintain clear documentation of test procedures, findings, and recommendations

Follow and refine standard operating procedures to enhance efficiency and PCBA quality

Coordinate and track global PCBA shipments and testing to ensure timely analysis and reporting

Expected Compensation 28.80 – 56.40/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
