Our Infrastructure Supply Chain (AIS‑SC) organization works to deliver advanced solutions to source, build, and maintain our socially responsible data center supply chains.
Key job responsibilities
Operate as the single‑threaded owner from supply chain for rolling up material costs for strategic AI/ML products.
Work cross‑functionally to gather feedback from supply chain, engineering and product managers and ensure the latest cost roll‑up reflects known engineering changes.
Own the cost reduction roadmap by engaging owners across commodities and successfully communicate this to leadership through written and verbal updates.
Deliver AWS's cost objectives through detailed understanding of all cost drivers and bill of material reviews.
Inform and influence senior leadership about business status, risk and opportunities via written narratives.
Prepare and present detailed data‑driven business reviews with senior management, focusing on procurement/sourcing execution and continuity of supply.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of procurement, supply chain, inventory management, contract management, lease administration or operations experience.
5+ years of relevant strategic sourcing including vendor negotiations, global contract management, process improvement, operational and financial analysis experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related technical field.
Preferred Qualifications
4+ years of program, project, product management, or leading a product implementation process experience.
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience in program, project, product management, or leading a product implementation process.
Experience in data centers, infrastructure service providers, or related technology companies.
Experience in procurement, supply chain, inventory management, contract management, lease administration or operations.
Experience in strategic sourcing including vendor negotiations, global contract management, process improvement, operational and financial analysis.
Experience with data analysis tools such as Advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python.
Experience in global supply chain management, managing cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced consumer electronics product company.

Compensation and Benefits Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $71,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $153,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign‑on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
