Supplier QA Engineer
Boston Scientific seeks a Supplier QA Engineer to lead performance improvement of suppliers, ensuring they consistently meet company requirements. The role supports global sourcing, manufacturing operations, and quality systems through participation in global communities of practice and value improvement projects.
Responsibilities
Assess suppliers for technical, quality, and manufacturing capabilities.
Develop solutions for complex problems, including data analysis and evaluation of alternative methods.
Plan and organize non‑routine tasks, maintain project schedules, and execute assignments under general direction.
Establish and cultivate business relationships with suppliers, lead projects within the function, and influence middle management on business solutions.
Demonstrate a commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance with the Quality Policy and documented quality processes.
Required Qualifications
BS degree in an engineering‑related field (Mechanical, Materials, Chemical, Electrical Engineering, or similar).
Domestic and international travel up to 10%.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with quality systems, quality processes, internal auditing, or ISO 13485.
Experience with manufacturing support or process development.
Experience with project management.
Experience with medical device suppliers.
Compensation Minimum Salary: $58,200 – Maximum Salary: $110,500. Compensation includes variable components such as overtime, shift differential, and annual bonus target, and may vary based on location and experience.
