Activity Therapist – Full Time Arbour Hospital, a long‑standing provider of behavioral health services in the Boston area since 1909, seeks an Activity Therapist to join its inpatient multidisciplinary treatment team. The role focuses on delivering expressive arts therapy, psychoeducational groups, and recreational activities to patients on the inpatient psychiatric units.

Responsibilities

Perform initial activity therapy assessment to develop appropriate treatment goals

Facilitate 4 groups per day

Complete group documentation and communicate with other members of the treatment team via treatment planning and team meetings

Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Qualifications

Master’s Degree in social work, mental health counseling, or a related field

6 months experience as a group leader in a psychiatric hospital, partial hospitalization or intensive outpatient treatment program (preferred)
