Inpatient Geriatric Psychiatrist
Hackensack Meridian Health (HMH) at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy, New Jersey is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible geriatric psychiatrist to lead a 12‑bed inpatient geriatric unit.
Responsibilities
Oversee a 12‑bed inpatient geriatric unit
Work full‑time, a minimum of forty (40) hours per week
Teach and supervise psychiatric residents, fellows, and/or medical students
Serve on committees and task forces, as needed
Collaborate with Advanced Practice Provider(s) (APP) and execute a collaboration agreement with the APP(s)

Requirements
D./D.O. degree from a recognized Medical or Osteopathic School
American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology certified or eligible
Board of Geriatric Psychiatry certified or eligible (preferred)
Able to obtain NJ Medical License, CDS, and DEA
Compensation Minimum Starting Base Salary: $282,667 HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency. The posted rate is a reasonable good‑faith estimate of the minimum base pay for this role at the time of posting in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Act and does not reflect the full value of our market‑competitive total rewards package. The Starting Base Salary is provided for informational purposes only and is not a guarantee of a specific offer. The Base Compensation determined at the time of the offer may be different based on non‑discriminatory factors.
