Job Summary The Division of Academic Specialists in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine is looking for a part‑time (over 0.50 FTE) or full‑time (1.0 FTE) faculty member at the rank of Senior Instructor or higher. The role is a generalist providing clinical care in both obstetrics and gynecology, including inpatient and outpatient service and surgery. The position may include evening and/or weekend inpatient OB coverage at University Hospital. Primary duties are clinical, but the faculty member will also actively participate in teaching medical students and residents.

Work Location Onsite – expected to work at UCHealth Boulder Health Center located in Boulder, CO.

Senior Instructor

Board‑eligible OBGYN, Colorado Medical License

Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Meets criteria for Senior Instructor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine

Assistant Professor

Board‑certified OBGYN, Colorado Medical License

1‑6 years of clinical OBGYN experience post‑residency

Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Meets criteria for Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine

Associate Professor

Board‑certified OBGYN, Colorado Medical License

7 years of clinical OBGYN experience

Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Meets criteria for Associate Professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine

Professor

Board‑certified OBGYN, Colorado Medical license

Ten (10) years of clinical OBGYN experience

Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Experience as a clinical educator

Meets criteria for Professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine

Preferred Qualifications Senior Instructor

Completion of an accredited OBGYN residency

Experience as a clinical educator

Assistant Professor

Experience as a clinical educator

Associate Professor

Experience as a clinical educator

Professor

Fifteen (15) years of experience in an academic medical center

Anticipated Pay Range The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as following based on 1.0 FTE:

Senior Instructor: $218,700–$243,000

Assistant Professor: $225,000–$250,000

Associate Professor: $254,700–$283,000

Professor: $293,400–$326,000

The above hiring range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non‑exempt.
