Job Description As a Senior Systems Administrator, you will manage and architect the studio’s Linux infrastructure, support security updates, package management, OS/kernel configuration, and hardware lifecycle. You will also work closely with engineering teams to design deployments, integrations, and automation tools.
Responsibilities
Lead support of the Linux environment including security updates, package repository management, OS/kernel configuration, and hardware lifecycle management
Create process documentation and best practices based on industry standards
Deliver training and mentorship to junior team members on administration and best practices
Manage name services (Red Hat IDM) and interface with Active Directory and upstream HR services
Manage virtualization (Red Hat / Openshift Virtualization, Hyper‑V, VMWare) and cloud (Azure, AWS) efforts
Design, update, and maintain systems that provision and update operating systems (Foreman/Katello, Chef/Ansible)
Drive automation enhancements and bug fixes for large‑scale projects such as patching, provisioning, and kickstart domains
Participate in escalations and root‑cause analysis
Participate in 24/7 on‑call rotation
Manage your work queue and document progress
Communicate clearly and efficiently (written and spoken)
Implement off‑hours maintenance tasks
Qualifications
Minimum 10+ years as a Senior Linux system administrator in a large (500+ system) environment
Experience supporting and provisioning Red Hat Enterprise Linux (Server, Workstation/Client)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, GitHub)
Develop tools using Python, Bash, etc. to improve efficiency
Strong customer service and documentation skills; balance project work with technical support
Effective analytical and diagnostic skills for performance and reliability issues
Prioritize and manage issues of varying complexity and criticality
Preferred Linux certifications (RHCE, LFCS, LPIC‑1)
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer or information management field
Advanced knowledge of LDAP (layouts, queries, object manipulation)
Experience administering OSE/RHV, Chef, Ansible, SSL, PKI, networking, Active Directory, macOS
Experience with JIRA and ServiceNow, and familiarity with Perl
Hybrid Work This position is designated as hybrid, requiring office presence at least three days per week, increasing to four days per week on January 5 2026. The Company reserves the right to change in‑office requirements at any time.
