Senior Manager Product, Private Asset Indices FTSE Russell is embarking on one of its most ambitious and high‑impact initiatives: building a comprehensive private assets index offering that opens up accessibility to the asset class. As Private Assets Index Manager, you will play a central role in shaping FTSE Russell's entry into private markets—bridging market opportunity with product design and go‑to‑market strategy. You'll lead the positioning of our private asset index series in the market through thought leadership, functioning as in‑house SME, and strategic engagement with clients and collaborators. Operating within a global team across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC, you'll contribute to the development of scalable operational processes, lead investment lifecycle data, and produce high‑quality content that supports both internal strategy and client delivery. Key Responsibilities

Support the development and growth of FTSE Russell's private market benchmarks, crafting methodology and driving strategic positioning.

Deliver investor‑ready reports and index materials that turn metrics into clear, actionable insights for clients.

Bring deep expertise in index construction and macroeconomic trends across private equity, private credit, and real assets to guide product innovation.

Support client adoption by communicating value clearly, streamlining onboarding, and ensuring smooth integration.

Represent the private markets team in internal forums and cross‑functional groups to build alignment and increase visibility.

Engage with industry peers through working groups and events to promote the Benchmarks and bring together market insights.

Collaborate across research, operations, and commercial teams to ensure products meet market needs and are ready for launch.

Chip in to go‑to‑market plans by crafting informational content, thought leadership, and marketing campaigns.

Track industry trends and regulatory changes to advise product strategy and uncover opportunities for innovation.

Qualifications

Demonstrated ability in product management, index development, or private markets research.

Solid understanding of private market structures and investment strategies.

Experience producing client‑facing materials that combine technical difficulty with strategic insight.

Excellent communication and collaborator engagement skills.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in finance, economics, CFA a plus.

Compensation / Benefits LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $139,500 - $232,700. Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/"bonus plan"). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience. LSEG roles (excluding internships and part‑time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes offerings of: Annual Wellness Allowance, Paid time‑off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending & Health Savings Options, Prescription Drug plan, 401(K) Savings Plan and Company match.
