What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Collaborate with Account Executives and other Solutions Engineers throughout the pre‑sales process to strategize for deal success
Conduct technical discovery sessions to understand customer needs and challenges
Develop and present complex presentations and product demonstrations showcasing Twilio's capabilities
Support pilot implementations and Proof‑of‑Concepts for strategic enterprise accounts
Maintain subject matter expertise on customer requirements and Twilio’s communications technology
What is Required (Qualifications)
Native and business fluency in Mandarin (speaking and writing)
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical pre‑sales role within CPaaS, SaaS, or Telecom
Strong understanding of the sales cycle and role of a pre‑sales engineer
Familiarity with voice protocols (VoIP), SIP implementations, or messaging APIs
Knowledge of public cloud platforms (Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure) and cloud application architectures
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Hands‑on experience with backend development (Java, C#, Node.js, Python, PHP)
Familiarity with mobile development, particularly for iOS and Android
Previous experience in Telecommunications, SIP, WebRTC, or Contact Centre in a technical capacity
Experience with automation and cloud‑native development
Understanding of sales methodologies
