ACCOUNTING DIRECTOR (TEMPORARY POSITION) Fort Worth, Texas | Onsite COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE • Pay Range: $100,000 • Full-time | Exempt | Temporary Assignment • Schedule: Monday–Friday, Standard Business Hours ROLE IMPACT The Accounting Director leads the daily accounting function to ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency. This role oversees Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, general ledger functions, and a team of accounting staff. Success is defined by reliable reporting, effective leadership, and strong adherence to internal controls and organizational standards. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Direct daily accounting operations including AP, AR, reconciliations, and general ledger activities. • Manage and mentor accounting staff; oversee performance, workload distribution, and development. • Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closes with complete financial documentation. • Maintain strong internal controls; identify and implement process improvements. • Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial data for accuracy and compliance. • Coordinate with vendors, leadership, and other departments to resolve accounting-related inquiries. • Assist with audits, reporting, and compliance documentation as required. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with supervisory or team leadership responsibilities. • Demonstrated AP/AR and full-cycle accounting expertise. • Proficiency in ERP systems (Microsoft 360, Navision, NetSuite, or similar). • Strong Excel skills (formulas, pivots, data analysis). • Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
