Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant: Build and enforce robust financial controls across diverse project cycles and sizes Manage the month end close process, prepare financial statements, variance analysis, maintain rolling cost cash flow forecast, an work closely with Project Managers Handle accurate job costing, AIA billing, collections, accounts payable, and Work-In-Progress (WIP) accounting to enhance cash flow and profitability Drive continual process improvement across all finance and back-office functions
Requirements of the Senior Accountant: 10+ years of progressive accounting experience within the construction industry Strong working knowledge of job costing (WIP, AIA, Lien Releases, etc.) QuickBooks experience is preferred Bachelor's Degree is preferred
