Diagnostic Radiologic Technician Location:
VA Northern California Health Care System (VANCHCS) – Multiple Sites Contract Period:
Base Year + Three Option Years Schedule:
Full-time, 40 hours per week Hourly Wage:
50.00/hr plus 4.93 for Health and Wellness Primary Responsibilities
Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, and other radiographic exams. Ensure proper patient positioning and image quality for accurate diagnosis. Operate and maintain radiologic equipment. Follow all radiation safety protocols and guidelines. Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient records. Work collaboratively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals. Assist in contrast media administration as needed under supervision. Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications: Completion of a
24-month
diagnostic radiologic technology program from an accredited institution. Current certification with the
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) . Minimum
one year of experience
as a diagnostic radiologic technician. Knowledge of radiation safety and compliance with regulatory requirements. Ability to work in high-pressure environments and handle multiple imaging requests.
