Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area. The Mammography Technologist will perform a variety of imaging procedures, including 2D/3D mammography, as well as ensure patient safety and comfort during exams. Responsibilities may include operating imaging equipment, maintaining patient records, and adhering to radiation safety protocols. In this role, the technologist will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality diagnostic services and support patients throughout their breast health journey.
Qualifications Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and current understanding of radiologic technology standards Proficiency in radiation safety and best practices in handling radiologic equipment Comprehensive knowledge of radiology and medical imaging with a focus on mammography Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate and organized patient records Exceptional patient care and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team State licensure and compliance with applicable regulations are required Previous experience in mammography or women’s imaging services is highly beneficial
