About the Role Collaborate with business stakeholders and product owner to define and document business & user requirements – through shadowing associates, interviews, working sessions, follow-ups. Use process mapping to inform. Translate business needs into detailed user stories and establish clear acceptance criteria. Support the grooming & prioritization of user stories to ensure alignment with business goals & end-user needs.
Job Title: Data/ETL Developer
Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Talend for data extraction, transformation, and loading across systems. Work extensively on Teradata and Snowflake for data warehousing, performance tuning, and advanced SQL scripting. Collaborate with data analysts, architects, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver reliable solutions. Implement data quality, data validation, and error-handling processes to ensure integrity and accuracy. Optimize complex SQL queries and manage performance across large-scale datasets. Support migration and modernization efforts from legacy systems to Snowflake. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare data privacy and security standards. Participate in code reviews, solution design discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering or ETL Development. Strong hands-on experience with Talend (Data Integration / Data Mapper). Proficiency in Teradata (SQL, BTEQ scripts, utilities, performance tuning). Solid experience with Snowflake (data modeling, query optimization, data sharing). Strong SQL and performance tuning capabilities. Experience in working with large, complex datasets and data pipeline orchestration. Familiarity with Python or Shell scripting is a plus.

Salary and Other Compensation: The annual [salary/hourly rate] for this position is between [$105,000 – 110,000 annually]/[$52-$55 per hour]. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
