divh2Financial Data Analyst/h2pAgile Defense is an award-winning and growing company with an immediate need for a skilled and energetic Financial Data Analyst to support US Marshals Service with financial analysis and reporting./ppJob Duties And Responsibilities:/pulliConduct forensic data analysis to uncover and analyze data trends, patterns, and forecasts, explaining processes and techniques, recommend actions, and provide accurate and reliable responses to program and executive-level inquiries./liliIdentify, query, analyze, and produce monthly/quarterly data metrics, as well as intra and inter-agency benchmarks and reports./liliCoordinate, execute, and aggregate data calls for program managers and Financial Services Division (FSD) executives./liliUnderstand and facilitate the integration of business processes, people, and relevant technology, in order to identify, configure, and communicate useful information./liliProvide timely, relevant and accurate reporting and analysis of Division and District performance against historical, budgeted, forecasted and strategic planning results./liliDemonstrate appropriate understanding and working knowledge of accounting principles, budget execution, continuing resolutions, and other internal controls./liliCreate monthly and quarterly dashboards, providing a high-level financial overview of the organization to FSD leadership./liliAutomate business and IT processes for both answering data calls./li/ulpQualifications:/pulliEducation, Background, and Years of Experience: Bachelors degree required and 3+ years of financial experience./li/ulpAdditional Skills Qualifications:/pulliAdvanced Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access and strong experience with data query/database management, financial and accounting (especially federal accounting) knowledge is required; strong experience with SQL, Business Objects, Power BI extremely helpful./liliIndependent worker and analytical thinker with ability to conduct research, data analysis and resolve complex problems./liliDetail oriented with proven ability to adapt to a dynamic organization./liliStrong interpersonal and communications skills (both oral and written) with a customer service orientation and demonstrated ability to effectively interact at all levels across the organization to build successful relationships./liliExcellent consultative, conflict resolution, negotiation and facilitation skills to gain consensus in a matrixed and complex organization./liliProven problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to think out of the box and generate creative solutions; ability to break a complex problem down into its component parts and arrive at the appropriate solution in a timely fashion./liliMust be flexible and able to thrive in a time-sensitive environment to meet strict deadlines with sudden and unpredictable needs with a high tolerance for ambiguity./liliPositive attitude, averse to the status quo, always looking to improve current processes and procedures; ability to see opportunities for change, to capitalize on them and implement them when appropriate for the benefit of the organization./liliA self-starter with a strong work ethic who sets high standards for self and others and demonstrates enthusiasm for the mission of the team./liliUS Citizenship and ability to obtain a DOJ MBI clearance./liliPreferred Skills: 2+ year(s) of Federal financial experience, Experience with CGI Momentum or UFMS, Experience with data visualization tools such as Microsoft PBI or Tableau, Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics/ or Business Information Systems./li/ulpStrength Demands: Sedentary 10 lbs.
