This position will report directly to the Controller and support the accounting team to assist in overseeing month-end closings, journal entry preparation, and general ledger reconciliations. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations and accounting functions, supporting the Controller in developing accounting and finance processes and providing an exceptional level of support to the business. The ideal candidate will have a mix of public and private accounting experience. This individual will assist in implementing and managing the processes and controls of the department to ensure appropriate accounting procedures./ph3Responsibilities:/h3ulliCoordinate annual audits and liaise with external auditors/liliOwnership of financial statements (PL, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) through preparation, analysis and reporting of monthly management accounts/liliManage full-cycle month-end / year-end close procedures, ensuring timeliness and accuracy/liliImplementation, management and continuous development of proper accounting processes, procedures, and internal controls/liliReviewing and some preparation of monthly inventory, revenue, and other balance sheet reconciliations/liliManagement, coaching and development of the Accounting and AP teams/liliMonthly variance analysis and financial reporting/liliPartner and maintain strong relationships with major stakeholders such as the Distribution Director, Customer Service Director, and Director of Digital Product/liliOther (as applicable/necessary)/liliMaintenance of the lease and promotional schedules/liliAssist in processing and reviewing bi-weekly and 1099 payroll with HR/liliOther responsibilities and duties as required by management/li/ulh3Qualifications:/h3ulliBachelors degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent field, CPA preferred/liliMinimum of 3-5 years of professional accounting experience/liliStrong understanding of U.S. GAAP/liliManagerial experience and desire to mentor and develop staff/liliAdvanced Excel skills/liliExcellent problem solving and analytical abilities/liliMust be organized, highly motivated, and a flexible team player/liliProcess driven and forward thinking/liliOther preferred: NetSuite experience experience with Avalara and expense management systems a plus/li/ulp$78,000 - $119,000 a year/ppThe base salary range listed here represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of NOBULLs total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual discretionary bonuses.
