Job Summary Staff Nurse – Allergy Clinic – Full Time – Rotating – 40 hrs – Chestnut Hill, Brighton MGH – BWH – Chestnut Hill Hill.

Overview Registered RN responsible for patient care in Allergy and Clinical Immunology at 850 Boylston Street, Chestnut Hill and off‑site locations.

Key Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for assigned patients.

Administer allergen immunotherapy, allergy testing, oral challenge techniques, and pre/post bronchodilator spirometry.

Triage telephone calls and coordinate management changes with physicians.

Maintain perpetual inventory of allergy samples and carry out sample dispensing.

Document care in clear, concise, and compliant nursing documentation.

Adhere to infection control, universal precautions, and safety standards.

Participate in quality improvement, departmental committees, and continuous education.

Qualifications

Registered RN in Massachusetts with current registration.

BSN required for newly licensed nurses.

Recent experience (within 5 years) in ambulatory outpatient office setting, pediatric allergy, procedural, and telephone triage.

Proficiency in allergen immunotherapy, allergy testing (patch, intradermal, oral challenge), and spirometry.

Knowledge of chemical skin tests, venom mixing, penicillin and aspirin desensitization, and McKesson medication ordering.

Strong communication, collaboration, and adherence to ANA Code of Ethics.
