We are looking for an Ultrasonic, Level 2, NDT Inspector to join our team. The goal of this role at Wisk is to effectively inspect, validate requirements, and help support the overall Quality team become stronger. You will be part of the Quality Organization which validates the aircraft build meets engineering requirements while effectively partnering with our production counterparts.

Due to the nature of the work required for this position, this is an onsite opportunity. You will be required to work from our Mountain View office.

Responsibilities

Setup and standardize NDI equipment and conduct system performance checks to ensure system and inspection accuracy.

Perform complex NDI inspections, specifically A-scan and C-scan Ultrasonic Testing (UT) on composite aircraft parts.

Identify, document, and report any defects, non-conformances, or anomalies found during the inspection process.

Interpret, evaluate, and document inspection results in accordance with approved Wisk procedures, specifications, and industry standards.

Develop written work instructions from general procedures.

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.

Maintain NDI certification and comply with all safety regulations and quality management system requirements.

Requirements

NDI Certification: Current or prior certification as a Level 2 Ultrasonic Testing (UT) inspector in accordance with NAS-410 or equivalent recognized standard.

Experience: Proven experience performing ultrasonic NDI on composite materials, including A-scan and C-scan methodologies.

Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of UT principles, equipment operation, and flaw detection techniques in aerospace-grade composites.

Work Environment: Must be able to work ON SITE in the Mountain View, CA facility.

Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for documenting results and interacting with cross‑functional teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay range the company expects to pay: $121,000 - $142,000 per year – the starting base salary within this range for this role varies based on factors such as your geographical location and your relevant job‑related experience that is consistent with a business necessity.
