Your Role and Responsibilities As an Oracle PPM consultant, you will:
Guide customers through Oracle‑delivered functionality, advise on best practices, map business processes to out‑of‑box functionality, document requirements, configure application functionality, and assist with testing.
Oversee end‑to‑end delivery of Oracle PPM projects, ensuring adherence to scope, timeline, and quality standards.
Serve as the primary point of contact on projects, understanding client business challenges and strategic objectives.
Drive project planning, resource allocation, and risk management to achieve successful outcomes.
Act as the go‑to resource for project issues and conflicts, providing guidance and resolution strategies.
Monitor project financials, resource utilization, and profitability to optimize performance and margins.
Solution Development and Innovation
Lead the development and continual internal education and delivery enhancement of Oracle PPM solutions and methodologies.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies, best practices, and market trends in PPM and financial management.
Collaborate with internal onshore/offshore teams to innovate and differentiate solutions.
Practice Support
Collaborate with sales and account management teams to identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the practice using feedback, metrics, and benchmarks.
Participate in pre‑sales activities, including solution demonstrations, proposal development, and client presentations.
Preferred Education Master's Degree
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
5+ years of experience architecting, implementing, and supporting Oracle Cloud PPM solutions.
Expert knowledge of finance and accounting principles.
Proficient in designing Oracle Cloud Planning solutions aligned with Oracle best practices.
Strong communication skills; ability to translate complex technical technology into functional client solutions and process improvements.
Groovy scripting experience required.
Willingness to travel up to 30%–40% for critical client phases.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
Public sector experience is a plus.
