Senior Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager Location: St. Louis, MO

A well-known company is looking for a

Senior Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager

to support

ground‑up high‑rise projects

in the

multifamily and/or hospitality

sectors in the St. Louis market.

This role is ideal for a construction professional who thrives in complex projects, enjoys being involved in both field and office operations, and is looking to grow within a strong project team.

Base pay range $85,000.00/yr - $105,000.00/yr

Key Responsibilities

Support project management teams on

large-scale, ground‑up high‑rise projects

Assist with

schedule tracking, cost controls, and subcontractor coordination

Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation

Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants

Participate in project meetings and contribute to project planning and execution

Support closeout activities and turnover documentation

Qualifications

3+ years of experience as a Project Engineer, Senior Project Engineer, or APM

Proven experience on

ground‑up high-rise projects

($50M+ preferred)

Background in

multifamily and/or hospitality construction

Strong understanding of construction documents and project workflows

Ability to work collaboratively with field and office teams

Bonus Experience

Exposure to

historic renovation, adaptive reuse, or preservation projects

Experience working on projects with complex structural or design challenges
