Pre‑Six Lecturer in Costume Design and Period Styles 22% time, September 2025 – June 2026, 100% time full‑time rate $68,247 to $72,404, salary based on UC scales.

Department of Theater and Dance at UCSB invites applications for a lecturer to teach courses in Costume Design and History of Period Styles during the 2025‑2026 Academic Year. Courses are undergraduate in nature and may include Costume Design, Costume Technology, Rendering, Costume History, Period Styles, and/or mentoring of student designers, dependent on the candidates strengths and specialties. Work will be in person on the UCSB campus; reimbursement for travel and housing expenses cannot be provided. Salary is based on UC's salary scales and depends on qualifications. Qualifications

Basic qualifications (required at time of application)

Two years of teaching and/or professional experience in the field Preferred qualifications
