A Bit About Us We are currently seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and passionate Financial Controller to join our dynamic, Global client in the Manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, and development of internal control policies and procedures. This role requires a high level of strategic thinking, leadership, and advanced financial expertise.

Responsibilities
Oversee all company accounts and investments
Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports that are appropriate for the users and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures
Prepare all supporting information for the annual audit and liaise with the Board's Audit Committee and the external auditors as necessary
Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions
Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash
Review monthly results and implement monthly variance reporting
Manage the cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts in accordance with policy
Oversee the bookkeeping function including maintenance of the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll
Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that personnel and financial information is secure and stored in compliance with current legislation
Manage the acquisition of capital assets and ensure that assets are properly recorded, amortized, and disposed of as appropriate
Assist the CFO in presenting reports to senior executives, stakeholders, and board members.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred)
Professional certification (such as CMA, CGA, or CPA)
5+ years of proven experience in a senior financial managerial position
Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Proficiency in the use of accounting software and financial management systems
Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Excellent knowledge and experience with Six Sigma, Job Costing, NPV Analysis, Budgeting, Forecasting
Strong leadership qualities and organizational skills as well as the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, assignments, and roles
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Impeccable analytical and organizational skills
Self-motivated and self-directed
Ability to work closely with a senior management team.
