Position Summary The Director of Risk Management (Facility Risk Manager/FRM) has broad responsibility to protect the hospital's assets from loss. The FRM coordinates loss control efforts and advises management and administration on all potential sources of loss and provides recommendations to minimize or eliminate exposure. The Risk Management Program complies with guidelines and standards of TJC, other regulatory agencies, and the UHS T.E.R.M Program.

Reporting, Report Preparation and Submission
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in nursing or related health field required. Master’s Degree preferred.
Experience:
Four (4) years of experience in risk management or improving organizational performance within an acute medical or psychiatric treatment setting.
Additional Requirements:
Strong knowledge of Joint Commission, TDSHS, CMS standards, and applicable federal and state laws governing mental health care facilities.
