for a
CONTRACT
assignment with one of our premier
Financial Services
clients in
Alpharetta, GA .
Our SharePoint Engineering team is responsible for building the SharePoint platform on‑premises and in the cloud for firmwide collaboration, as well as application hosting and development. We provide platform expertise, economies of scale and ease of management by creating management & SDLC tools, APIs and other services for easy deployment of critical applications. A lot of our work involves enhancing the vendor offering, filling gaps and influencing the future roadmap of the product.
Responsibilities
Design and implement the company's Office 365 Document Management governance best practices.
Work with clients to onboard them to the Office 365 platform.
Collaborate with third‑party vendors and internal groups (Desktop Engineering, Azure, Office 365 engineering, etc.) to deliver a strategic governance solution.
Develop and integrate custom tools targeting cloud.
Integrate several Office 365 services: SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, Planner, Microsoft Information Protection (MIP).
Required Skills
Strong C#, ASP.NET, & PowerShell skills.
Design, develop, and maintain web applications using ASP.NET Core and React.js or Angular.
Strong understanding of Modern Authentication, Graph API, Azure AD Application.
Understand and implement SharePoint site and group site permissions.
OneDrive account, site, and permissions management.
Strong OneDrive, SharePoint, and OD sync client troubleshooting experience (desktop client, web, mobile app).
Use JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, HTML, and CSS to create and update pages, components, and scripts.
Develop applications and system tools to implement, deploy and manage infrastructure systems on‑premises and in the cloud.
Experience with GitHub, Jira and other continuous integration technologies and SDLC agile development techniques.
Strong SharePoint fundamentals: lists, document libraries, permissions, content types, workflows.
Excellent understanding of Single Sign‑On technologies (PingFederate, SAML, Windows Kerberos).
Experience with Office 365 (SharePoint Online and OneDrive) application development, management & deployment.
Understand Exchange Online, user profiles, features, and mail flow.
Maintain and support all of SharePoint, OneDrive and Office 365.
Good communication skills to help end users train with basic SharePoint tasks and hold training sessions.
Collaborate with end‑users and business owners to create and update SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, pages, apps, forms and workflows.
Experience with Agile delivery methodology.
Troubleshooting experience on‑prem/online, networking (Wireshark, etc.), Microsoft Information Protection (MIP). Able to track issues, resolve them, and, when needed, elevate to core engineering or Microsoft support.
Reorganize and restructure website contents.
Train users on how certain existing features might have changed in the new platform.
Demonstrate SharePoint features and provide specialized consulting services regarding out‑of‑the‑box features. Research and suggest usage of new features and implementation on the new platform.
Preferred Skills
Experience with SQL programming.
Understanding of other Office 365 services such as Unified Groups, Teams, PowerApps and PowerAutomate.
