Environmental Remediation Project Manager – AECOM

AECOM is actively seeking a talented Environmental Remediation Project Manager with responsibilities in Texas to collaborate with multiple Remediation Consulting department managers and drive project success on both internal and external accounts.

Job Description This hybrid (office and remote) role involves technical project work, client development, and project management. The successful candidate will work with Remediation Consulting department managers to achieve strategic objectives on major accounts.
Responsibilities
Oversee the preparation of work plans and organize project studies.
Interface directly with technical project managers and project teams to deliver projects on scope, schedule, and budget.
Incorporate client requirements into project management, including commercial contract terms, change management process, and financial performance KPIs.
Use client- and AECOM-prescribed tools to track and manage financial aspects of the projects.
Ensure projects are delivered on‑time, within scope, and meet budgetary objectives while adjusting project constraints based on financial analysis.
Apply strong local TCEQ and/or Gulf Coast state regulatory knowledge (preferred).
Qualifications Minimum Requirements
Bachelor in related field and 4 years of relevant environmental remediation experience or equivalent.
US Citizen or US Permanent Resident.
Subject to background check and motor vehicle records check.
Preferred Requirements
15+ years of experience in site investigation and remediation.
5+ years of project management experience.
Professional certification preferred (e.g., Prof. Eng./Geologist, Chartered Eng./Geologist, PMP).
Superior communication, writing, editing, and reporting skills for a wide variety of audiences.
Experience managing environmental projects for various types of clients.
Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
Experience in team management and scheduling staff and resources to ensure on‑time and on‑budget project delivery.
Experience preparing proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and change orders.
Additional Information Compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $86,000 to $125,000 per year.
