Role Overview The Director of Information Technology is responsible for leading WPIA’s enterprise technology strategy and day‑to‑day IT operations. This role ensures that systems, infrastructure, ERP platforms, and cybersecurity capabilities are reliable, secure, and scalable to support business operations and growth. The role owns the ERP roadmap, with Deacom ERP strongly preferred, while also leveraging transferable experience across other leading manufacturing ERP platforms.
Key Responsibilities
ERP Leadership & Business Systems
– Lead ERP implementation, optimization, and governance (Deacom preferred; SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, Epicor acceptable); ensure ERP supports end‑to‑end processes including manufacturing, inventory, supply chain, quality, finance, and HR; drive ERP adoption, training, data accuracy, reporting, and process discipline.
Cybersecurity, Controls & Risk Management
– Develop and maintain enterprise cybersecurity strategy and incident response protocols; oversee system access controls, data governance, and audit readiness; lead security audits, vulnerability assessments, and remediation initiatives.
Infrastructure, Scalability & Vendors
– Oversee IT infrastructure across corporate offices and packaging facilities; ensure systems are scalable to support growth and increased transaction volume; manage ERP partners, managed service providers, and cybersecurity vendors.
Leadership & Governance
– Build, develop, and lead a high‑performing IT team; establish IT policies, standards, documentation, and KPIs; partner with Finance, Operations, HR, and Quality leaders to align technology with business needs.
Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field required. Master’s degree or MBA preferred. 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including ERP implementation in manufacturing or distribution environments. Deacom ERP experience strongly preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer. Ability to lift up to 15 pounds as needed.
