What the IT Systems Administrator will do…
Serve as the
Epicor Kinetic subject matter expert , leading design, implementation, and troubleshooting Manage
Laserfiche integrations
and API connections for document workflows Oversee
network infrastructure , server upgrades, and endpoint security Partner with internal IT specialist (help desk/network) and engage third-party vendors for advanced initiatives (cybersecurity, firewalls, managed detection) Maintain
SQL databases , develop SSRS reports, and support ERP-driven metrics for operations and finance Drive IT projects end-to-end: new phone systems, server refreshes, cybersecurity enhancements Ensure
disaster recovery readiness , backups, and compliance documentation Act as a
jack-of-all-trades
for IT-desktop troubleshooting, network support, and ERP optimization Communicate effectively across shop floor, office staff, and ownership
What the company needs in an IT Systems Administrator:
Technical & Functional Skills Epicor Kinetic experience
(manufacturing ERP) strongly preferred; Eclipse or Profit21 exposure helpful Strong
SQL/database administration
and API integration skills Knowledge of
network infrastructure , cybersecurity best practices, and ERP concepts Ability to lead IT initiatives and work independently in a lean environment Soft Skills Self-motivated leader comfortable making decisions and presenting solutions to ownership Excellent communication and ability to work with diverse personalities Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
Bonus Points:
Experience with
Laserfiche Familiarity with managed security services (e.g., Arctic Wolf) Certifications in Epicor, Microsoft, or network/security technologies
