Senior Revenue Manager
Pay Rate/Range: $2000.00 to $2200.00 per week
Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Location: Onsite in Santa Monica, CA
Duration: 6 months
Key Responsibilities Account & Partner Management
Oversee account partnerships and manage account teams to ensure strong execution and alignment with business priorities.
Optimize partner expertise and knowledge across all digital platforms.
Drive critical analysis of digital partnerships to identify growth opportunities and maximize performance.
Strategize, communicate, and execute partner platform placements and programs to support UMG priorities with DSPs.
Create, implement, and optimize channel marketing plans with digital partners.
Build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with partners of all sizes and types, including DSPs, labels, management, and internal teams.
Digital Strategy & Platform Optimization
Lead and implement digital strategy projects and initiatives across platforms.
Manage and optimize partner platform systems and analytics tools to improve performance and reporting.
Optimize revenue through platform features, partner programs, and commercial models.
Maintain strong expertise in all commercial digital models, including streaming, social media, and user-generated content platforms.
Operations & Process Improvement
Improve processes, refine operations, and troubleshoot day-to-day account streaming and platform activities.
Augment label education by sharing best practices and guiding partners through platform navigation.
Lead center-driven and cross-partner initiatives, coordinating efforts across multiple internal and external teams.
Physical Product & Inventory Management
Assist with inventory management across all physical configurations.
Ensure all product orders are received, fulfilled, and shipped to retailers on time.
Prepare and report on music product sales across all retailers, providing visibility into performance and execution.
Independent Retail & Event Support
Coordinate Record Store Day (RSD) event timelines, retailer outreach, and store participation.
Manage promotional items, including creation, allocation, shipping, and secure delivery of pre-release music and artist scripts.
Provide marketing guidance, including social media copy, store lists and maps, and customizable graphics.
Align with Sales to support product shipments and retailer readiness ahead of events.
Deliver post-event recaps, including attendance metrics and sales performance results.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum of
7+ years
of experience in business operations, sales, or marketing within a music media company, digital partner, or related digital content industry.
Proven experience working with commercial platforms and digital service providers (DSPs).
Deep understanding of commercial products, platforms, consumer trends, and music consumption in the digital ecosystem.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with experience in social media and content marketing strategy.
Demonstrated ability to communicate strategy, drive artist growth, and maximize revenue.
Skills & Competencies
Excellent verbal, written, and executive-level presentation skills.
Strong relationship-building skills across internal teams, labels, and external partners.
Meticulous attention to detail with consistent follow-through.
