This Project Manager (PM) has full responsibility for an entire project. The PM oversees safety, quality, schedule, coordination, profitability, and progress of the work. They serve as the primary point of contact for the owner and handle all commercial aspects. The PM is involved in the project from advertisement to estimating, award, construction, and final completion, and may manage one or more projects depending on contract amounts and demand.
Principal / Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Estimating
Correspondence and negotiations with client
Subcontract and purchase order preparation and approval
Job cost reviews
Cost forecast reviews
Change order and claim preparation
M/W/DBE selection, auditing, and compliance
Scheduling oversight
Invoice approval
Site staff personnel management
Control estimate preparation
Monitoring of compliance with quality and safety standards
Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years experience preferably in heavy highway civil construction
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or similar degree
Preferred
Experience with software such as Heavyjob, HeavyBid, Procore, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, BIM, and Fieldwire
Compensation Range: $130,000 – $180,000
