Job Overview
Dividend is looking for a Loan Servicing Specialist to manage loan assumption and modification processes for solar installations financed through Dividend Finance. The specialist will work with homeowners, escrow agents, real estate agents, and other stakeholders to ensure responsible loan transfer and timely resolution of distressed accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement new reporting systems, including FTP processes, for data transfer.
Initiate outbound contact for properties listed for sale to ensure loan payoff or monitor loan assumption to buyers.
Draft waivers and other documents in coordination with the Legal team for files where loan panels have been moved.
Correspond with real estate agents, escrow agents, mortgage lenders, current customers and buyers regarding financed homes with solar panels.
Coordinate partial ITC payment delivery and receipt prior to loan transfer or handle ITC waiver requests.
Manually draft contingent assumption agreements (new homeowner loan contracts) with accurate figures and dates.
Review open accounts for potential modification and identify delinquent issues.
Maintain professional outbound efforts while preserving customer relations.
Coordinate with vendors for modification processing and compile data for weekly activity reports.
Analyze data to identify and manage stressed accounts.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
2–3 years of experience in loan servicing or a telecommunications environment.
Experience with real estate transactions.
Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast‑changing environment.
Self‑disciplined with strong critical‑task completion skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Salesforce.
Customer service experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical skills and detail orientation.
Sound judgment, initiative, and problem‑solving ability.
Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $43,400 – $71,600 per year.
