Position Overview Group Strategic Analytics is part of the Group Chief Operations Office (COO), bridging the Bank’s businesses and infrastructure functions to deliver efficiency, control, and transformation goals. We seek a highly experienced, dynamic candidate to assist with a comprehensive programme focused on Transaction Monitoring (TM), ensuring the identification and mitigation of financial‑crime‑related risks. The role requires a strategic thinker with proven expertise in model risk management, resource and budget oversight, and regulatory/audit engagement. You will safeguard the organization from financial crime risks while aligning the programme with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

What You’ll Do
Assist with delivery of the Americas GSA Actimize programme, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and objectives.
Maintain programme goals, scope, benefit case, and success criteria to align with business strategies and regulatory requirements.
Track detailed benefits cases, effort estimates, and provide transparent prioritization.
Assist in developing, validating, and maintaining transaction monitoring models to comply with model risk management frameworks.
Ensure all programme activities meet regulatory expectations, including documentation, reporting, and governance.
How You’ll Lead
Proven capability to lead and motivate diverse teams in a matrixed environment.
Liaise with internal and external model validation teams to ensure adherence to governance standards.
Skills You’ll Need
Proven experience in programme or portfolio management within financial services—ideally in financial crime, compliance, or risk management.
Expertise in identifying, assessing, and mitigating delivery risks effectively. Professional certifications such as CAMS, ICA, or PMP/PRINCE2 are preferred.
Experience working with data analytics, machine‑learning, or AI tools in the context of transaction monitoring.
Exposure to global regulatory requirements and multi‑jurisdictional financial crime compliance programmes.
Skills That Will Help You Excel
Ability to align programme goals with broader organizational and regulatory objectives.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
Expectations It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York City office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $125,000 to $203,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location, and other qualifications.
