Job Summary Edward Jones is looking for a Branch Office Administrator (BOA) to join a small, client‑support team. The BOA is a vital member of the team, providing seamless, administrative and client‑service support to financial advisors and their clients in our Laguna Beach branch.

Base Pay Range $26.00/hr – $31.00/hr

Position Schedule & Location Full‑time; Branch Address: 1100 South Coast Highway 219, Laguna Beach, CA

Job Overview & Key Responsibilities As a BOA you will be the first point of contact for clients, handling inbound and outbound communications and ensuring a positive client experience. Your responsibilities include:

Supporting client accounts and facilitating communication between clients and financial advisors.

Providing exceptional client service via phone, email, and in‑person interactions.

Managing account transactions, opening accounts, transferring accounts, and preparing required documentation.

Handling scheduling, appointment coordination, and material preparation for client meetings.

Supporting marketing initiatives, including event planning and execution.

Updating SOPs and contributing to the branch business plan.

Working independently under the guidance of your advisor while collaborating with the wider team.

Qualifications & Requirements

Analytical thinking, attention to detail, adaptability, and conversational skills.

Proficiency with digital tools (e.g., MoneyGuide, Salesforce, Microsoft Office).

Strong computer literacy and willingness to learn new technology.

Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and referral sources.

Experience with client service, account management, and administrative support expected.

Compensation

Howard Minimum: $26.10/hr

Howard Maximum: $31.00/hr

Merit‑based salary increases and discretionary variable compensation based on branch and firm profitability.
