Our client is seeking a Senior Valuation Analyst to join their firm! They are a full-service valuation and financial advisory practice with 30+ years of experience providing valuations of businesses, tangible & intangible assets, and advising on tax & financial reporting matters. This role will provide valuation and financial analysis services for closely held businesses and complex financial assets.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct business valuations for divorce, estate and gift tax, shareholder disputes, transaction advisory, and related purposes.
Apply appropriate valuation methodologies, including Income, Market, and Asset-based approaches.
Prepare formal written valuation reports in compliance with professional standards (USPAP, AICPA SSVS No. 1).
Assist legal teams with financial discovery, document review, and analysis.
Develop and review financial affidavits, income and asset tracings, and expert reports.
Provide deposition and trial support, including preparation of exhibits and expert opinions, and serve as an expert witness or support lead experts in court proceedings.
Conduct client interviews to gather financial data and clarify objectives, translating complex information into clear insights for clients and legal professionals.
Stay current on tax laws, case law, and valuation standards affecting divorce, estate, and gift tax matters.
Conduct research and prepare memoranda on complex valuation and economic issues.
Manage multiple client engagements, deadlines, and deliverables, including supervision of junior staff or coordination with outsourced analysts as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field; Master’s degree or CPA/other certification preferred.
3–5 years of business valuation experience, with demonstrable work in: divorce litigation support, estate and gift tax valuations, litigation services and/or transaction advisory services
Strong analytical, modeling, and report‑writing capabilities
Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
Familiarity with valuation databases and research tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Court testimony experience a plus, or willingness to develop into a testifying professional
