Commercial Director – AI / ML Biopharma Services
Location: Europe (Benelux, DACH, France or UK)
We are supporting a high‑growth AI/ML‑enabled life sciences services business partnering with biopharma R&D teams across data science, computational biology, and advanced analytics.
The business is entering a new phase of scale and is seeking a
Commercial Director
to own and build its European commercial function, and subsequently, its North America function.
Role Reporting into executive leadership, you will:
Own commercial strategy and execution across BD, accounts, and marketing
Lead and develop a ~5–10 person commercial team
Drive value‑based selling and complex, multi‑stakeholder deals
Build scalable GTM processes, forecasting, and pipeline discipline
Act as a senior commercial partner to scientific and technical leadership
Requirements
Senior commercial leadership experience in life sciences services, tech‑enabled services, or AI/data‑driven R&D
Experience growing a business/business unit from under $7M revenue to north of $10M revenue – demonstrated ability to grow business is key
Proven success in value‑based selling and complex sales cycles
Experience scaling and leading commercial teams
Comfortable operating in a high‑growth, evolving environment
Strong cross‑functional and people leadership skills
This is a hands‑on leadership role with real ownership and impact in a scaling AI‑enabled biopharma services organisation.
