Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine patients' needs and develop treatment plans
Deliver individualised therapeutic interventions, exercises, and activities to enhance patients' abilities and promote their independence
Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and optimal outcomes
Keep accurate and detailed records of patients' progress and report outcomes to appropriate stakeholders
Adhere to legal and ethical standards in the provision of occupational therapy services.
Requirements:
Active and unrestricted occupational therapy licence in the State of Illinois
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritise tasks.
Must have reliable transportation to travel to patients' homes in Chicago (area of service: Old Irving Park and Avondale or Belmont Cragin neighborhood)
