What You'll Do
- Lead welding and fabrication operations for overhead crane builds
- Guide a production welder and shop hand to hit daily targets
- Perform MIG, flux core, and occasional sub-arc welding on A36 steel
- Interpret blueprints and oversee fabrication from start to finish
- Maintain a clean, organized, safety-driven work environment
What You Bring
- 5+ years of MIG and flux core welding experience
- Strong blueprint reading and fabrication/assembly skills
- Ability to direct a small team and maintain production flow
- Willingness to work 2nd shift with occasional overtime
Bonus Skills
- Sub-arc welding familiarity
- TIG and stick welding experience
- OSHA 10 certification
- Surface prep, sanding, and polishing skills
- Valid driver's license and ability to lift 50 lbs

Job type & location: This is a contract to hire position based out of Tonawanda, NY.
Pay and benefits: The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
