Welder And Fitter
We are seeking skilled welders and fitters to join our team. The role involves welding components for buildings and construction areas, utilizing Flux Core .045 and MIG welding techniques. You will work closely with architects, interpreting blueprints and using quality tools to ensure precision and excellence in heavy steel welding. Training will be provided by experienced workers to help you excel in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Perform Flux Core .045 and MIG welding for construction components.
- Read and interpret blueprints to execute welding projects accurately.
- Utilize quality tools and techniques to ensure high standards in welding.
- Collaborate closely with architects to understand and meet their requirements.
- Engage in heavy steel welding tasks.
Essential Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in Flux Core or MIG welding.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading.
- Experience with structural steel, TIG, and stainless steel.
- Ability to perform fabrication and fitting tasks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Prior experience with companies like Ace Iron & Steel, UMI, Wisconsin Steel Tube, or Super Steel is advantageous.

Work Environment:
Work in a smaller, clean facility with two shift options: 1st shift from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, and 2nd shift from 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM. The environment is designed to support your best work, with a focus on safety and quality.
Job Type & Location:
This is a permanent position based out of Menomonee Falls, WI.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
