Minimum Education High School Diploma
Required Licenses [Ohio,United States]OtherSterile Processing certification required through either the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA), the Certification Body for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD), or Association of Surgical Technologists (CST); preferably at the supervisor level.
Minimum Work Experience Two to three years of sterile processing experience, some supervisory experience preferred.Previous Epic experience preferred.
Required Skills Must be able to work independently in all areas of Sterile Processing: decontamination, preparation/packaging, sterilization, sterile storage and case carts.Ability to use critical thinking to prioritize appropriately, including staff assignments.Moderate computer skills, i.e. Microsoft Office, Outlook (e‑mail), SPM, etc. required.
