Holder Construction, an Atlanta-based commercial construction company with operations throughout the United States, is seeking a highly motivated MEP Coordinator to join our Washington D.C team.
Responsibilities
Controls/power monitoring coordination including RFIs, submittals, graphics, testing, and checkout.
Lead the coordination of mechanical, electrical, and special systems, including schedule ownership, issue tracking and closure, CX checklist readiness reviews, and overall communication with client, engineer, and CX provider.
Responsible for the specific mechanical and electrical construction needs of aviation facilities (e.g., airports) and other related construction projects.
Supervise all mechanical, electrical, and special systems trade contractors and vendors involved in the project.
Coordinate all mechanical, electrical, and special systems schedules, budgets, reports, and documentation from pre-construction through close-out.
Requirements
5+ years of commercial construction experience with large sophisticated mechanical and electrical systems.
Extensive experience managing construction of aviation projects and complex electrical and mechanical infrastructure projects.
Experience developing project scopes and schedules, coordinating change orders and RFIs, managing and tracking project budgets, and cost control.
Strong experience managing professional relationships with owner representatives, architects, engineers, and clients while supervising trade partners and vendors.
