The Scott County Community Development Agency (CDA) in Shakopee, MN, is accepting applications for a full-time
Deputy Executive Director . In this critical leadership position, you will work to ensure the Scott County CDA effectively supports its mission by integrating all teams across the CDA, driving day‑to‑day operations, managing the execution of the strategic plan, ensuring program and service excellence, and holding people accountable for results. You will assume the duties of the Executive Director when they are unavailable.
Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Urban Planning, Nonprofit Management or a related field; or equivalent work experience. 3‑5 years’ experience in leading and managing collaborative teams; strategic planning, operationalizing high‑level goals, and translating strategy into concrete project execution plans; designing, planning, and operational oversight of public housing and community development programs and services, coupled with a thorough knowledge of all pertinent laws and regulations; workflow optimization, process improvement, and implementing agency‑wide initiatives. May substitute an equivalent combination of education and experience.
