Maintenance Generalist II Job Type:
Full‑time Shift:
Evening Shift – 11 am to 7 pm, M‑F, working every 6th weekend as part of a rotation, and on call overnight every 6th week. Salary Range:
$28.75 – $35.75 an hour (Competitive salary, based on your unique skills, experience, and professional background.)

What We’re Looking For:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Four (4) or more years of related experience in maintenance, boiler plant, and HVAC equipment.
Thorough knowledge of refrigeration, boilers, electrical, and plumbing.
Knowledge of local codes, ordinances, and safety regulations; familiarity with supplies and equipment used in maintenance and engineering preferred.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams (a plus).
Strong troubleshooting skills and an ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Physical stamina (ability to stand for extended periods; lift up to 50 pounds).
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
What You’ll Do: Maintenance Operations & Facilities Care – Make repairs to electrical, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment as needed.
Perform other repairs, replacements, and installations which may include drywall, plumbing, electrical, light bulbs, fixtures and ballasts, ceiling tiles, floor tiles, washer/dryer, household appliances, water tower, chiller equipment, commercial kitchen, medical equipment, fan coil units, heating units, televisions, and physical therapy equipment.
Participate in external and internal community and equipment painting.
Perform journeyman‑level maintenance and repair work across NLCS communities including plumbing, electrical, heating, air conditioning and refrigeration, facilities, and equipment.
Perform boiler room operations and maintenance; maintain storage room maintenance.
Conduct chemical water testing for boilers, chill water, and cooling towers.
Perform other duties as required.
