Cyber SDC - Zero Trust Engineer – Senior – Consulting

Your expertise will evaluate, enhance, and devise innovative solutions, processes, and policies to cater to each client’s unique Zero Trust requirements.
Your Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage Zscaler security solutions to protect our network infrastructure.
Monitor and manage security configurations for Zscaler services.
Conduct regular security assessments and audits of network environments.
Collaborate with IT and network teams to ensure secure deployment and management of network resources.
Respond to and investigate security incidents and breaches involving Zscaler solutions.
Implement and manage security policies and configurations within the Zscaler platform.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2).
Provide guidance and training to internal teams on Zscaler security best practices.
Keep current with Zscaler security trends, threats, and technologies.
Skills and Attributes for Success
Solid understanding of Zscaler security solutions, including ZIA and ZPA.
Proficiency in configuring, managing, and optimizing Zscaler services.
Knowledge of network security best practices and industry standards.
Ability to implement and manage security controls in network environments.
Understanding of network security principles and practices.
Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and network segmentation.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to think critically and make data‑driven decisions.
Excellent documentation skills, including the creation of procedures, process documentation, and user documentation related to IAM applications.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in network security or a related role.
Strong knowledge of Zscaler security solutions and their features.
Experience with network security tools and technologies.
Familiarity with compliance frameworks and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2).
Strong understanding of network security, identity and access management, and encryption.
Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Relevant certifications such as ZCCP, CISSP, or equivalent are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
Professional certifications in Zscaler (e.g., Zscaler for Users – Essentials).
Familiarity with additional cloud security technologies and tools (CSPM, Data Protection, AI).
Knowledge of cloud‑based security solutions and experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
In‑depth knowledge of Zscaler architecture, deployment, and configuration.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation and configuration management.
