Job Description Summary
Initiate and develop new deposit relationships through Financial Advisors and other professionals within the RJ affiliated entities. Actively partner with Corporate Bankers and Banking Consultants to expand and retain targeted customer relationships, achieving target deposit goals by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities
Contribute to Raymond James Bank success in achieving its annual sales & revenue plans by carrying out targeted deposit generating strategies.
Develop sales scripts to effectively offer the products and teach the sales force how to position the products through deal flow.
Actively prospect new deposit relationships with C‑Suite Executives at small to mid‑market companies by partnering with Banking professionals.
Work closely with PCG Cash Solutions team to coordinate sales efforts around campaigns.
Penetrate existing client relationships.
Lead client meetings and create client proposals.
Act as SME and provide guidance on corporate deposit related issues to Banking professionals and clients.
Resolve client requests and/or issues independently.
Provide insight into new banking products and solutions and provide guidance around competitiveness.
Prepare documentation and follow through for proper booking of sales credit, etc.
Maintain reporting and results tracking to provide insight into corporate deposit product sales and growth.
Maintain pricing exception reporting and expirations.
Present to senior management regarding deposit opportunities.
Attend and present at conferences as needed.
Collaborate with appropriate RJF stakeholders.
Ad‑hoc projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, Marketing or 10+ years equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
Minimum of 10 years of sales/financial services experience.
Masterful at relationship building and business development with strong influential and decision‑making skills.
Demonstrated business acumen with knowledge of unique industries and markets in conjunction with a broad knowledge of business banking products and services.
Excellent communication skills with all levels of external and internal clients.
Very strong written and verbal communication skills.
SIE not required.
Education
Bachelor’s: Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Marketing
Work Experience
General Experience – 10 to 15 years
Certifications
Securities Industry Essentials Exam (SIE) – Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA)
