Develop production emails using a React-based component library, ensuring performance and cross-client compatibility Lead independent projects to build marketing platforms, including React component libraries and automation systems Architect scalable full-stack solutions across frontend and backend technologies for high-volume campaign delivery Design reusable frameworks and patterns that enhance developer productivity and enable self-service campaign creation Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team productivity through process improvements and automation Qualifications
5–8+ years of full-stack software engineering experience with expert-level proficiency in React, Ruby, and SQL Proven experience architecting and building scalable marketing platforms or developer-facing systems Deep expertise in modern web technologies including React, Next.js, GraphQL, and REST APIs Strong proficiency with backend development using Ruby and databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Snowflake) Experience with HTML email development and understanding cross-client rendering challenges Preferred Qualifications
Experience building email rendering systems or marketing automation platforms Familiarity with marketing platforms (Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud) and templating languages for dynamic content Knowledge of testing frameworks and modern CI/CD workflows Experience with distributed systems architecture and workflow orchestration Proven ability to leverage AI tools for productivity improvements in development workflows
